Leadership is an ability to influence a group of people toward the achievement of goals. In other words leader means powerful personality or individual who has a clear ideas, concepts and convincing power to attract the followers. Cammock (2003, p.17) suggested that leadership is a dance , in which leaders and followers jointly respond to the rhythm and call of a particular social context, within which leaders draw from deep wells of collective experience and energy, to engage followers around transforming visions of change and lead them in the collective creation of compelling futures.Leadership theories are usually reviewed based on the research approach behind the models. The six categories of review most often used are: trait, behavoiur, situational or contingency, power and influence, charismatic and transformational approaches. Here I would like to discuss few theories of leadership.
